Natalie Jane grew up in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, where she first discovered her powerful voice as a child, which her family, particularly her opera singer aunt, encouraged. Besides singing in musicals and taking up piano, she also began composing her own songs at eight years old. Inspired by dynamic vocalists such as Bishop Briggs (Sarah Grace McLaughlin- Bishop Briggs, a British American musician and song writer) and Adele, she eventually went to New York City to fine-tune her captivating approach to pop music with the help of a producer. Throughout high school, she spent numerous hours after school in studio sessions.
Natalie recalls being unable to focus on her music-theory class as she received news of her first editorial playlist. Her music career then took off, culminating in a trip to Los Angeles at the start of 2022 to work with successful co-writers and producers. Despite receiving acceptance to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Natalie decided to pursue her dream of a music career, which ultimately paid off when she signed a deal with 10K Projects/Capitol Records in July.
Appearing on stage in season 18 of American Idol as contestant 41011. Although she gave it her all, she did not become the top twenty finalist, eliminated at the 36th round. Among her earliest works were 'Plastic Hearts', written by Ali Tamposi, Ryan Tedder, Watt and Louis Bell, Miley Cyrus, a fifth track under an album named #TurnHerUp: Vol. 2( released May, 5 2021). The song was released under Frtyfverecords, a platform set up to mainly distribute digital music.+
Natalie Jane, who is only 19 years old (born April 25, 2004), possesses a voice that is so commanding that it magnifies even the most personal emotions. Her prior works, such as "AVA," which she recorded after being signed by 10K Projects/Capitol Records, demonstrates how this New Jersey native, who now resides in Los Angeles, combines her enormous vocal abilities with a heartfelt empathetic tone and a no-holds-barred personality, qualities that she has exhibited ever since she began releasing her own tunes when she was still in high school.
"AVA" was inspired by the idea of being in a relationship and realizing that your partner is talking to someone they shouldn't be talking to. This piece was written by Natalie herself, James Miller Gulielmetti, Paul Daniel, Geena Fontanella and produced by Pink Slip, inverness and Doc Daniel.
The comeback piece "AVA," an irresistibly charismatic track that not only appeared on single charts in four countries but also got featured on seven flagship playlists and earned her four playlist covers.
She is a highly imaginative artist who has been dabbling in paint colors since childhood and has recently created the cover art for her reinterpretation of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy." Her debut project is currently in the works, and it promises to bring even greater intensity and force to her majestically cinematic style.
In her senior year, Natalie Jane released her first single called “Love is the Devil”. She wrote the emotionally-charged track entirely on her own, and it gained her a lot of attention. She continued to release independent music such as “Red Flag” and “Kind of Love”, which led to a growing music career that she had to balance with school work.
Independent hits like "Seeing you with other girls", "Bloodline", "Nonstop" and "I'm God" racked up over millions of streams worldwide.
In that same month, she introduced herself to a broad audience through her major-label debut "Mentally Cheating." The track, which had an authentic and beautiful quality, quickly found its way to highly sought-after playlists like Spotify's Pop Sauce. The recently released song, which deals with the struggles of giving in to temptation, has become extremely popular on TikTok due to various glimpses and has received over 6 million likes, 115,000 pre-saves, and 25,000 shares. Soon after relocating to L.A. in September, Natalie Jane unveiled her next single, "Seven," another heavily-playlisted success.
Natalie Jane is a skilled marketer of her own talent and she demonstrated this with the release of her latest song "I'm Her". She captured the attention of her audience by teasing the song for weeks through TikTok and accumulated an impressive 20 million views. Her adept use of social media and musical proficiency has made her a popular figure on the platform, with 217 million likes in total. Using her digital skills, Natalie Jane has become a force to be reckoned with, dominating the Internet.
Released April 28, 2023, "It's her" was written by Natalie Jane, Dan Gleyzer, Live Miraldi, Jackson Lafrantz and produced by Dan Glayzer.
Lyrics From Genius.com
[Verse 1]
Did you know I could see forward in time
Where there is no trace of you in my mind?
Boys are like pennies and nickels and dimes
If I don't need 'em, I leave 'em behind
I will not have an idea who you were
All of the shit that you did will not hurt
All of the shit that you gave will be burned
Memories dead to me now in the dirt
[Chorus]
I'm a god (Obliterate you)
From my heart (I'll make them hate you)
Don't cause harm
To a god, god, god, god, god (What?)
[Post-Chorus]
God
Ha, ha-ha, ha-ha
Ooh-ooh (Haha)
[Verse 2]
Once you lie, there's no empathy
I don't break bread, especially not with my enemies
Turnin' water to wine, blood in the sky
Shouldn't have bit off the apple tree
You made a mess, Hades of death
Revenge is divine, don't be surprised
If I go and ruin your everything
Thing, thing, thing, thing (What?)

[Outro]
I'm not even holy, but my heart is safe and sound
'Cause if you hurt me, I'll come right back around
Swingin' at full speed, go and call the cops
Tell them that you've seen
A god, oh, oh, oh-oh
God
Ah-ah, ah-ah-ah
Ooh-ooh
God
