More than 50 individuals have been apprehended as law enforcement authorities take action against the demonstration held by UT Austin students protesting the conflict in Gaza

At the protest, students once again emphasized their primary request from the previous day, urging UT-Austin to cut ties with weapon manufacturers and companies associated with Israel. They also demanded Hartzell's resignation and full immunity for student demonstrators and members of the Palestine Solidarity Committee, the organizers of the event that took place on Wednesday, who were taken into custody.
