Prayer For America

In the mighty name of your beloved son - Jesus Christ:

We thank You almighty Father for this blessed day you have made possible for us. We thank You for your continuous kindness, mercy and unending love. As we celebrate our independence day: open our eyes to see who we truly are, grant us the courage to abandon our selfish ways and as we fall in love with You, help us to love and forgive our neighbors each time we are wronged. For in Jeremiah 28:7, it is said:

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

The world is going through a very difficult time, many of our friends and family have departed this realm and gone to rest. Heal us and our lands we beg you, grant our leaders wisdom to lead us into peace and prosperity.
